not DumbSheepDave.  Whyzat?  I hardly know how to go through my day – interact with life, as DumbSheepDave.  So unnatural, other-worldly, unAmerican, unChristian, to be weak, clueless, childlike, dependent, because everyone outside the Church and inside the Church, stresses strength, being knowledgeable/wise, adultlike, independent.  So I feel pressure when I read Scripture, to understand everything perfectly, so I can explain everything to others perfectly.  Great unity among Christians on most of Scripture, but great disunity on the meaning of many areas.  Still, a mature Christian – strong/adultlike/knowledgeable, is expected to have answers.  ShepherdDave.

DumbSheepDave feels no pressure to understand all of Scripture perfectly.  Trusts his ShepherdJesus when he doesn’t understand.  Ahhhh.  Wunnnerful peace being other-worldly.  Though impossible unless the Spirit convicts for the sin of independence/worldliness/pride/confidence.

–DumbSheepDave, trying to give ShepherdDave permission to be weak, clueless, childlike, dependent, so he experiences the bliss of Jesus-dependency/humility, so the pre-believers around him will want a SaviorShepherd too
