are not coming to Jesus left and right, is He ENOUGH for me as EvangelistDave? A huge desire of my heart is to see conversions among seculars around me, but the dark side of that motivation is pride — the need to feel WORTHY as a Great Commission activist. When I’m disappointed with my performance Jesus is not ENOUGH for me. I want MORE. I’m not CONTENT with Him and His imputed worthiness. And with His genius plan for my life and ministry.

So what can I do to nurture sanity in my life? What helps me? Each time the Spirit makes me aware, I CONFESS. Ahhh. Trying harder to be fruitful is a fool’s errand. Voice of experience speaking.
