about everything just as it is — including the harrrd, and everyone just as we are — including the irritating. Because they have sovereignty-awareness as they go through their day — seeing SovereignShepherdJesus behind everyone and everything, all according to His genius plan.

Two kinds of unhappy Christians — a) those who suppress their frustration/disappointment and push onward focused on their goals, and b) those who are more self-aware — unable to live in denial of their frustration/disappointment, so they are miserable and KNOW they are miserable. Unhappy Christians only thank Jesus when things go their way. If then. They NEVER thank Him for the harrrd — for the things their human-wisdom hates.

The unhappiest Christians have pseudo-faith — we profess faith in Jesus, but live like atheists, feeling ALONE and in CHARGE of daily life. The Pharisees had nothing but pseudo-faith — they imagined themselves obedient followers of God, when they actually followed their human-wisdom, and were blind to the extent of their sin/hypocrisy. Pseudo-faith has never been contagious to nearby seculars. The early Christians had real faith — that was contagious to their neighbors, friends, relatives. The Good News spread like wildfire. Seems to me that we Christians today have pseudo-faith most of the time, not contagious-faith. We miss out on so much of the benefit of Jesus in THIS life.
