Jesus gave me for dealing with my critical-judgmental spirit, competitive/superiority addiction, is asking Him to show me ways I’m just like the person I’m looking down upon, maybe not on the surface, but deep down — how what drives them, drives me too.  OUCH.  Out of the answered prayer comes a compassion for the person I never had before.  Amazing.

And yet-another helpful strategy, is my THANKing Jesus for creating those I criticize/judge just the way He did, so I’m looking at them as His creations rather than other humans who have weaknesses for my feasting pleasure.

–PatheticallyInsecureImmatureNeuroticDeludedProverDave, who can’t get enough conviction of the sin of confidence/independence/pride, which causes him to momentarily be DumbSheepDave, enjoying the bliss of Jesus-dependency/humility/cluelessness/childlikeness, so the pre-believers around him might experience Jesus
