No believer who feels pressure, stress,

believes in the total sovereignty of Jesus.  Doesn’t matter what we claim to believe about Him and His sovereign reign over all.  When we feel pressure, stress, we are unbelievers in His sovereignty.  We have Heaven, but are missing the benefit of Jesus.  And those around us suffer too, because of our self-absorption.

Nevertheless, we feel and truth reels us back in, best case. Most of us not named dumb dave straddle the self-absorption fence. God in his mercy doesn’t condemn us for failing to believe in Jesus’ sovereignty. Quite the contrary, in his word, he speaks often into those feelings we slip to. That he acknowledges we have them doesn’t make our feelings right. If only we could just “get it” and live full in the benefit of Jesus, just think!

AAAAAMEN. There’s nothing we can do to gain more of His love, or less. His love for us, enjoyment of us, has nothing to do with our performance. 🙂
